Our floral arrangements are carefully curated to have the maximum visual effect, with a minimal impact on the environment.

With this in mind, we grow a selection of scented blooms ourselves onsite. For the rest we buy only whenever possible British grown flowers and foliages, which lends it’s self to celebrating their beauty and diversity, showcasing the wonders of the season in all their glory. With the added benefit that British varieties are often scented and offer a wonderful opportunity to support UK growers and embrace sustainable practices, minimising the impact associated with long-distance transportation. REPURPOSING & DONATING

Flowers that return from an event if possible are refreshed and repurposed into arrangements that we donate in recycled vessels to local charities and hospitals.

Flowers and foliages that are not repurposed into arrangements for charities are dried and reused to add texture and interest in our arrangements. The rest is composted on site next to our workshop and then used to grow our flowers.

GROWING OUR OWN

We grow on site a variety of flowers and foliages that we use in our arrangements and the rest of the products we use are sourced as much as possible from local UK growers.

SINGLE USE ITEMS

For the rare occasions that we buy long distance flowers, we reuse the boxes, flower tubes they come in and re-use the soft plastics to make cushions for transporting some of our arrangements in. We then dispose of the plastics through the correct recycling methods.

SUSTAINABLE PRACTISES

Wherever possible we use the most eco-conscious methods and equipment to construct our florals. By-products such as chicken wire, flower tubes and plastic pots are stored carefully and re-used many times over. We are always keeping our ear to the ground for any new sustainable floristry techniques and materials to trial before we use them in our work.
