Principle of water leak detection:
When a leak occurs in a water supply pipe, the overflow of water under pressure will produce a noise which will spread along the pipe to both sides or along the medium to the ground. Water leak detection is to pick up the sound of this leak through the instrument and convert it into an electrical signal, which is amplified and digitally filtered accordingly to determine the exact location of the leak.
