However, EA accidentally released the pack in error FIFA 23 coins, and then flooded the market with an overwhelming number of items and saw prices fall rapidly, with some losing up to one million coins in value. This is about PS200 for purchases by a third party.
EA has yet to issue a statement on the mistake. But the impact on the market will last forever. Most, if not all players are losing value, and although the market has recovered somewhat following the removal of the pack and following shortage with FUT Hero items, the loss of coins will not be able to be reversed.
Participants who managed to purchase the pack might be in the luckiest of circumstances, however it was advertised as not tradeable (meaning it couldn't be traded in the market for transfer) in the past when EA has sold packs with incorrect descriptions and they usually compensated those who bought the original pack, meaning some players could receive two FUT Hero cards in exchange for as little as 25,000 coins.
