1.Wind speed sensor overview:
Wind speed sensor has the advantages of high measurement accuracy and fast response time, which often replaces the traditional wind speed sensor in many places. The task principle of the wind speed sensor is to apply the ultrasonic time difference method to complete the measurement of wind speed. As the sound in the air to convey the speed, will be superimposed with the wind direction on the speed of airflow.
Suppose the ultrasonic wave conveys direction opposite to the wind direction, then its speed will slow down; conversely, if the ultrasonic wave conveys direction if opposite to the wind direction, then its speed will become slower. Therefore, under the fixed detection conditions, the speed of ultrasonic wave in the air can be conveyed and the wind speed function correspondence. After calculation, the accurate wind speed and direction can be lost. As the sound waves in the air, its speed is greatly affected by the temperature; wind speed sensor detects two channels on the two opposite directions, so the temperature on the speed of the sound waves can be negligible impact.
The wind speed sensor is a key component of the variable air volume end installation, therefore, the type and function of the wind speed sensor indirectly affects the detection and control quality of the air volume of the fragmentation. Wind speed sensor is generally developed by the end of the installation manufacturers themselves or entrusted to control equipment vendors supporting the consumption. A single type of wind speed sensor, the most commonly used Pitot tube type wind speed sensor, ultrasonic vortex type wind speed sensor, propeller wind speed sensor and hot wire, hot film type wind speed sensor, etc.
2.Installation of wind speed sensor
The wind speed sensor is able to continuously monitor the wind speed and wind volume (wind volume = wind speed x cross-sectional area) size at the above location, and is able to display the wind speed and volume of the tunnel it is in in real time, and is an important instrument for measuring the safety parameters of mine ventilation. Its sensor assembly consists of wind speed sensor, wind direction sensor and sensor bracket. It is mainly applied to the main return air lane of each mine ventilation with the risk of gas explosion, the wind entrance, the main underground wind measurement station, the fan fan entrance, the digging working face, the coal mining working face, etc, and the corresponding mineral enterprises.
