World of Warcraft opened in international markets

Jones revealed on Twitter that a "troll Raid" scene was removed from the stage version buy WoTLK Gold.

"Was cost prohibitive to undertake, and not directly enough in relation to the main plot, so scratched in the beginning," he said.

In terms of whether we will see an ever-extended version of World of Warcraft that contains these scenes (and anything else Jones hasn't spoken about) the director told me it's dependent on the way World of Warcraft does at the box office.

"There will not be an extended cut unless the production does exceptionally," the actor said on his Twitter. "That is the normal way it is."

The theatrical version's running time is approximately two hours. There were 40 minutes of footage cut , which could be used in a longer cut, Jones said.

World of Warcraft opened in international markets last week, bringing in $31.6 million according to Deadline. The US release is scheduled for 10 June however the movie isn't expected to reach the top of the chart. The budget for the production is set around $160 million.

Jones is also talking about creating two more World of Warcraft movies WoW WoTLK Classic Gold, however for this to happen, the first one needs to be a huge success.
