We're going to continue to release additional bans

In a blog post(opens in a new tab) published on the internet yesterday, the team behind the development provided an update regarding the game's abundant bots, stating that they were "working on internal strategies as well as tools that will make it more difficult for bots to enter the game".
This announcement comes after an announcement last week, which stated that Smilegate had "been working on formulating effective tools and methods to identify and remove fake accounts from its game" and had banned more than one million "bot" accounts from its servers(opens in a new page) from March 4.

"We realize that this isn't going to make a difference as bots remain that are present in the game, so we want to provide an assurance that this was one aspect of an ongoing fight.
"Following this massive ban, we're going to continue to release additional bans to eliminate further bots in the game. Beyond that, we're developing internal methods and tools to make it harder for bots in the game, particularly given the speed at which they're being developed. These updates will be coming into the game. "We've also heard player concerns about the effects these bots could have on economic system in the game when it comes to buying and selling gold, and we are closely following this situation," the post explained. "We have changed the gold reward to silver in some Rapport or buy Lost Ark Gold Guide Quest rewards in order to prevent the abuse in these system by bots and farmers of gold."
