Express Entry – Becoming familiar with the method of immigration
Posted on 16 September, 2022 by immig toronto
Known as Express Entry, this approach is used by Canada to attract skilled foreign workers permanently to this nation.
It is common for people to confuse "Express Entry" with the name of a specific Canadian immigration program. The "Express Entry" is an online tool that allows for qualified worker applications from three programs to be consolidated: CEC (Canadian Experience Class), FSWP (Federal Skilled Trade Program), as well as FSTP (Federal Skilled worker Program).
We'll now examine each of the Express Entry procedures in more detail.
Step 1: Find out if you qualify
You must first determine your eligibility for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and Federal Skilled Trade Program (FSTP) which are all three categories of skilled worker immigration.
In order to determine whether you meet the basic requirements for any of the programs, either read over the detailed requirements for the specific programs or answer a few questions.
Step 2: Send IRCC a profile to find out what your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score is.
After you have verified that you are eligible according to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada requirements, you must create and submit an online profile. The next step in the IRCC profile completion process is to gather the necessary paperwork, such as an evaluation of your educational credentials and a language test.
In addition to your IRCC profile and your final application for permanent residency, the government of Canada gives a list of documents that you required.
As a result of IRCC's Comprehensive Ranking System, you will obtain marks that are based on your profile. This score is required for skilled worker immigration to Canada.
Step 3: Check your inbox for an application invitation
Your invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residence will be issued by IRCC following submission of your profile and receipt of your official CRS score.
It is necessary for foreign skilled workers to obtain an ITA before they can obtain permanent residence in Canada. Through Express Entry, ITAs are drawn approximately every two weeks. An annual draw is conducted by the IRCC to invite potential permanent residents to apply for permanent residency in Canada.
Step 4: Send your completed permanent resident application online.
Make sure you have any necessary paperwork on hand before you apply for permanent residency.
The type of documents you may need includes birth certificates, financial statements, and medical tests. Your eAPR will also be finalized once you complete this step, pay any application fees, and pass a medical examination. Before you can submit an application for Canadian permanent residence, all prerequisites must be satisfied.
Step 5: You should wait to see what the IRCC decides
Currently, the application for permanent residency is in the process of being processed.
The majority of complete applications with all necessary supporting documentation, according to the Canadian government, will be handled in six months or less. The service standard for Canada is a six-month turnaround for 80% of Express Entry applicants.
