Blizzard hasn't yet confirmed a specific release date at this time, but the beta is expected to come out sometime in 2022 WOTLK Classic Gold. The beta is expected in the month of July or August. With the new Dragonflight(opens in new tab) expansion most likely arriving on the retail version of WoW at the beginning of 2023 we're probably going to be seeing Wrath of the Lich King Classic arrive several months before that. It's possible that we'll see a release in release in September or November.
Wrath of the Lich King Classic will be part of The monthly World of Warcraft subscription ($15/PS10/EUR13) which includes access to WoW Classic/TBC Classic/WoW Shadowlands.
It's not clear if you'll have to purchase a clone of your character (if you want to continue playing the different Classic versions) We'll update this guide when there's more. Other than that, you'll need to pay extra in the event that you choose to get a level boost or transfer your existing character to another server.
2. The 2nd World of Warcraft expansion is one of the most well-known. Arthas Menethil's journey started back in Warcraft 3, and this expansion brings us to Northrend in order to finish his story and face him as the Lich King in the Icecrown Citadel. This expansion is also the one which brought about the famous Ulduar raid, as well as it's Death Knight class.
Blizzard has stated that a few changes to the quality of life of characters are planned for Wrath of the Lich King Classic which weren't present in the original.
Level 70 boosts are now available to purchase so that you can step into Azeroth and start your journey to Northrend from launch, rather than having to grind through the earlier 70 levels to be capable of tackling the new features WOW WOTLK Classic Gold. Level boosters were also available for Burning Crusade Classic, too.
